It’s that time of the year again, when all my Bonnaroo brethren are anxiously awaiting for the official lineup to be announced. The Roo crew usually release the lineup the first week of February, so it’s only natural that the rumors and leaky lineups pick up super steam the week or two before the real deal drops. Is the below list completely accurate? I’m not sure. That all depends on how well you trust “hackers”, “message board gurus”, and the “hip insiders”. I can say, from multiple Bonnaroo experiences, it’s really rare for a band to be signed up for the festival in back-to-back years.. making this particular lineup somewhat believable.
Jay Z
Neil Young
Dave Matthews Band
Kings of Leon
Stevie Wonder
Pavement
Arcade Fire
Norah Jones
Massive Attack
String Cheese Incident
Furthur
Michael Franti and Spearhead
Phoenix
Dead Weather
STS9
New Pornographers
311
Mos Def
The Black Keys
Avett Brothers
Disco Biscuits
Blakroc
Cat Power
Spoon
Explosions in the Sky
Yonder Mountain String Band
M83
Gossip
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
Ingrid Michaelson
John Frusciante
Dan Deacon
Baroness
Lord T and Eloise
Ryan Bingham
Brian Jonestown Massacre
Gaslight Anthem
Gwar
Steve Martin
Mayer Hawthorne
Noah and the Whale
Stevie Wonder! Although I’m still waiting for that mythical Led Zepellin Roo reunion, it’s an interesting list that features a little bit of everything and has more of a jam-band feel than the past couple of years. You could color me excited for Jay-Z, Neil Young, Arcade Fire, and Pavement though!

Gotta say, this is pretty much what I thought the lineup would look like. (I would have guessed the Who swapped for Neil Young and wouldn't have guessed Phoenix would be back, though). So it seems pretty likely…

Well, scratch that. Looks like some Knoxville blog is a dofus:

can't say i'd shell out 300$ for that lineup.
was talking with a friend and would love to see triple headliners: Bowie / Daft Punk / Outkast
yep, that'd be the best fest ever.
Nice, Blakroc playing. I saw the Black Keys and Mos Def were both on there, and I thought just maybe, and then I saw Blakroc. That would be sweet.
Amazing roster!!! Jay Z and Blakroc are incredible live. I have to say though, Neil Young will be the highlight of the festival for me.

how would anyone know what Blakroc is like live? They have never had a live show thus far.
well this being my ninth year id like to say it has happened several years where artists have played back to back and the list may be somewhat accurate but i do have an insider who has gotten a somewhat different list. guess we'll see
wait wait wait… what about Micheal Jackson, I thought he was going to surprise us with ONE MORE SHOW!!!
I don't care as long as Pavement and Neil play…
It is fake, we made it up on https://inforoo.com .
Spelling error. It's actually Led Zeppelin, and I was lucky to see their last show in London in 07, I'm hoping for a next show, but I don't see it in the cards.
yawn…
Doubt this is it. Some of these bands might play but this is way less exciting than previous years. Plus, The Flaming Lips are coming back this year for sure…Wayne's already said it himself!
Worst lineup ever. Seriously, for $250 a ticket times 80,000-90,000 people, this is the best they could do? Jay Z and Nas…..no MMJ, Allmans, Widespread? What happened to this festival? This lineup is a travesty.
